Back Layout

Complete a controlled full back-to-back back layout at a comfortable wind speed while maintaining the intended flight line.

Prerequisite: Belly-to-Back Transitions Over the Head.

Desired outcome: Complete a controlled full back-to-back back layout at a comfortable wind speed while maintaining the intended flight line.

Key points:

  • Start low to the net in back flight, feet first toward the planned wall.
  • Initiate upward movement before rotation.
  • Roll the shoulders forward, extend the legs, and allow the lower body to rotate through a long body line.
  • Connect both transition halves and spot the net before returning to back flight.
